WHO ARE WE?

​

In 2004, the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation  Prairies/NWT Region developed a Youth Advisory Council in hopes to educate youth about risk reduction, early detection, and breast health information.



 

In 2010, the Youth Advisory Council expanded and established an independent group on the University of Alberta campus.



As a result of the group's tireless efforts holding many events to educate the University of Alberta community, in 2015 the group was renamed a Youth Action Committee!
